What is Recharge?

Recharge is a monthly organized event for people ages 14-25. Events have included scavenger hunts, laser tag, knocker balls, water wars, Christmas parties, board games, card games, pizza parties and much more.

History: Recharge was started on October 23rd, 2021, as a simple game night. From there, it expanded to a monthly, gathering, doing more and more activities and was officially branded “Recharge” in February of 2022.

Game Flow: Recharge is always on a Saturday. The start time is between 5:00PM or 7:00PM with the main activity either starting right away, or later in the evening. A brief intermission is held for information on future events and a word of encouragement.

Objective: The purpose of Recharge IS to “recharge.” It is where you come, be yourself and be “recharged” from your day-to-day life through good, old fashion, fun. Recharge is founded on Christian values and beliefs, but it is not a youth group.

Core Values: The core values of Recharge, motivate, relate, equip and relax are tools that aid our objective.

• Motivate: Encouragement and competition from games and conversation,
• Relate: Closeness in ages, like experiences, face-to-face interaction, and keeping things simple, and stress free.
• Equip: Giving people the opportunity to step outside their comfort zones and by trying something new and providing opportunities to make friends.
• Relax: Come and be yourself. At Recharge, we want you to be you, whatever you are going through.

What to Bring: Nothing is required for anyone to bring! However, games are never turned away. We encourage all people to bring their fun, and exciting personalities.

Rules of Recharge: Relax and have fun! Coarse and crude language, smoking and vaping indoors, overly immodest clothing, and alcohol are all prohibited. Participation in all activities is never required, and areas are provided for those who wish to sit out of a game.
